I would like to hear Mayor Koch again. I have often listened to recordings of the Kennedys and noted their use of filled pauses. What I find really fascinating, though, is the way some comedians incorporate filled pauses effectively in their routines (e.g., Bob Newhart, Bob Elliot & Ray Goulding, aka., 'Bob and Ray', etc.).
