This is great information.  I am taking a course on "Speech and Body Language" and your page adds more detail to one of the topics we are covering.

I suppose your course on "Speech and Body Language" looks at the relationships between what is spoken and concurrent body posture or movement.  It appears to be fairly well-known that although a listener is generally expected to maintain continuous eye contact the speaker is free to glance around (often connected with the process of recall).  I have not yet tested this hypothesis but I have informally observed that FPs (filled pauses) and other hesitations often occur while the speaker is *not* looking at the listener. Hence, FPs are connected with the process of recalling and preparing subsequent speech.
